Kitchen Gut

A former factory space turned home that blends vintage finds, vibrant colors, and different textures to crate an eclectic, curated, and personalized home.
Shown mid-project here, this kitchen was formerly a commercial storage room and was built entirely from the ground up. All new cabinets are topped with a mix of soapstone and custom walnut slabs salvaged from urban wood. Original 1880's maple flooring, refinished, tell the story of a history of mixed uses in the stains, scars, and holes which are patched with contemporary and colorful subway tile. The subway tile, in muted Zellige, complement as the backsplash.
New plumbing, electric, windows, and appliances , and a mix of new and reclaimed furniture and light fixtures fill the space.
